PHASE II Dental Implants: This was my second procedure with Dr. Gold. He has now installed two dental implants during this surgery. I did NOT experience any pain during the procedure. This procedure took about an hour. After the procedure was completed, I experienced only minor discomfort as one would expect. I took only one tablet of Ibuprofen as prescribed, and the discomfort subsided. Dr. Gold called me later on in the day to check in on me, I informed him of the discomfort and told me if I needed anything else let him know. The Dr./Patient relationship was key for me in order to build patient trust. I have learned that during this procedure TRUST & EXPERIENCE are the two things the surgeon MUST have in order for the patient to feel at ease. I'm writing this several weeks after the surgery so as to give everyone who reads this, the knowledge that I have experienced, no further discomfort, and no problems with the implants themselves. The experience part of the surgery was knowing that several weeks later, they were installed professionally and that these implants will last me a lifetime, I'm looking forward to my last check up visit !
